Needed caliper and rotor...

Does anyone here have a decent condition front right caliper and rotor they will sell me on the cheap? I thought I was going to be able to make until mid January to get all complete brakes, rotors, lines and more but can't afford to do it with the holidays here and other bills in order.

It's starting to grind terrible now

If anyone has either or both of these, please drop me a line.
I'd appreciate it.... anything decent will do to get me by until I can get it up to speed with a new setup.

Clint

Re: Needed caliper and rotor...

Why don't you just reseal the caliper and get the rotor turned?

How or who would I deal with in getting the caliper fixed without getting dished? The edges of the rotor are chewed up looking....
Thanks

Re: Needed caliper and rotor...

You could get the dealer to service the caliper and turn the rotors. But if the pistons in your caliper have gotten pitted or rust in the seals then your better off getting a good used one. Reseal kits are about $25 enought for 2 fronts. You could always buy the reseal kit and have a cheap shop put them in or you could do it yourself and save some cash.

Re: Needed caliper and rotor...

So I'm getting the caliper that he had posted, thanks.

Does anyone have a decent single front rotor to sale me! I need one soon please, anyone?!
(Dan's were tossed apparently)

Mine is way beyond repair at this point....

I actually found one new for $37 with free shipping.... but it's not going out until the 1st, which sucks... because I didn't want to wait that long... so it sits again....

Where'd you find a rotor for so cheap?

advance auto parts or partsamerica.com... be warned though, their checkout system is a POS and even though it said my order did not go through, it charged my card and under my orders it shows the order as open....

I sent them an email about it in fear I was going to get charged twice (since I ordered brake pads, shims and a new line for the caliper I'm getting...) but so far it's only shown charged once on my bank account.

I've never had an issue with ordering online... maybe it's because I use FireFox.

I don't know if you guys know about this but there is a code for 15% off all purchases from partsamerica.com ( ONLINESAVE15 ) Enter it in the coupon code spot-it never expires and there is nothing excluded.

Well scratch that idea... they just cancelled my order yet conveniently still have a hold on my funds.... ... I called and they said they can't get the rotor, it's not available to them.

WHY was it listed on the website then.... damnit

Yay, the search continues....
