See link #2 of post 7 in this thread. The horizontal louvers between the two solid sides of the right rotor are the vents. In essence the rotor is hollow and the air flows trough it to cool it.

Have 63,000 kilometers (38,994 miles) on mine, still going. Got 53,200 km (33,267 mi) out of the front performance metallic pads, rears are still going.
