quick question, need quick answer!

which way does the front transmission seal go on? open side in or out. thanks.

Don't know which seal you are talking about, but the open side would normally face the oil.

What He said.
The open side with the spring goes towards the trans.
I fill in the sdeal with petrolium jelly on the seals edge, and to keep the spring from shifting/moving.
