Yeah, it looks like a winner.

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Save your cash, Buy a power inverter, and a hair dryer. Pull the heat element out of it, and mount it in your MAF

now THAT'S interesting. I'd like to see pics of an install though, AND some independantly confirmed dyno numbers.

Yeah a link does help a little.
There are install pics and dyno charts on the bottom left corner of the link.
With 70hp boost available for 20 sec. it sounds like an expensive bit fun in small bursts.

yeah and what i like, theres no boost until u want there to be... so you dont have to worry about harming your engine, and when u want to have a little fun like donig a 1/4 mile... the boost runs just long enough for that sort of thing... if i got one, id set it at 6-7 psi and stick it in my fender well where i could get some serious cold air, like i was told, 1 psi= 7% total increase in hp, 10 degrees lower= 1 % total increase in hp... good stuff but if i was only to use the boost for 20 sec. at a time couldnt i run more like 8psi or more and not harm anything?? when i speak 4psi or more, do i have to look into getting mroe fuel in or sumthing?? i have a 96 and i dont think i can use the z32 maf...

At the push of a button, an ultra-lightweight battery bank injects the drive system with bursts of pure energy.

OMG!!!! PURE!!!! Not like the contaminated energy you get with those cheap electric chargers....

I wonder what kind of electric motor is he using to move that turbine fast and strong enough to build 7psi....

I've been following Thomas Knight for a few years now. He first introduced a 3 motor electric supercharger powered by 6 batteries in the trunk in 2003-2004ish. The application was placed in a 1994 Nissan Altima. Here's the article:
http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/04...ger/index.html

Still, after everything's said and done, you're not going to get the power you hoped for, and will pay near what you would for a turbo or supercharger, at least in the SVX. They're slightly under-powered and slightly over-priced, but if it's your only option, it's your only option. Fortunantly for the SVX it's not.
