Great source for new OEM Parts
Liberty Subaru in Oradell, NJ impresses me more and more every time I call them.
http://www.libertysubaru.com/en_US/ -> "Parts" 888-782-9493 Their website isn't as friendly to look up parts as others, like subaruparts.com, but it does have a feature where you can enter a part number and get a cross reference for all models that use that part. They also don't list their prices or retail prices?? But if you call them, their service is great, mention that you were referred by subaru-svx.net and you will get prices that are within a few cents +/- (mostly -) of any other online dealer. Sometimes I call with numbers other times I call with a description and they have never let me down. Today I called to order 6 items, I only had the part numbers for 4 of them. All together I was on the phone for less than 4 minutes . For shipping, they use UPS and charge actual shipping, they never do flat rate and never charge for handling. A few other members that I talk to have used them with no complaints.

I think they have some 97 grills there, something like 5 left in the country? Pretty cheap too, like $150ish.

+1 for them too. I bought the hitch that was on my baja from them super cheap (factory part) and best of all I don't think they charge sales tax either if you aren't from NJ (correct me if I'm wrong on this though)

I have found that feature also on 1stsubaruparts.com. It is indeed useful. I usually look up the part number on subaruparts.com and then plug in the part number on 1stsubaruparts.com to see if it is interchangeable with any other year and/or model.

While we're on the subject.....
I have found that Rock Auto (www.rockauto.com) is a great place to find out who manufactures replacement parts. They have a great "drill-down" type search feature, and then when you click on the part you need, it brings up a list of parts with the manufacturer, part number, price and sometimes a picture. Then you just have to call around to your local parts stores to see who carries what brand.
