Finally got it!!!!! #1222!

Well in my hand I hold the title to a pearl white 1992 SVX LS-L, the VIN ends in 101222 so if my memory serves me from what I read, it's #1222 :-P...

Sucky thing is the guy can't find the key, and the key cutter at my work doesn't like the key code that came up in the computer at work... So tomorrow I'm going to go back to the guys house and take the door panel off and get the code off the driver's door lock cylinder and see if that works, if not then I gotta go to the Lock Doctor and pay hims $15 or whatever it is to have him cut me a key... Stinks that our key machine at work doesn't like the code since it doesn't cost me anything to have a key cut at work...

Other sucky thing is it's an out-of-state title (Colorado) and the car, from what the PO told me, doesn't move under it's own power, so I'm gonna have to fix it and then take it to the DMV to have the VIN inspected so I can transfer the title...

Blah!

But I'm happy cuz I finally got it :-) (Even if it's not at my house yet...)

Here's the only 2 pics I have of it, one is from the back (The garage it's in is not very big, so I couldn't get a decent shot of it) and one is of the crappy touch up job on the front bumper (There's a similar one on the back bumper, on the driver's side, and a small dent in the corner under the tail light....)

Congradulations on the purchace! Theese car's, you'll see, are freakin great to drive. Very comfortable, classy, not honda at all style cruisers.

from what I see, the car looks pretty nice. Pearlies are probably among my favorite svx colors, just be carefull if you go to repair the touchup spots...Pearl white is a massive pain in the buttocks to color match, though it seems whoever repainted the decklid did a fantastic job on the match (Let me know if you ever need bodywork advice)

As for moving under it's own power..because you mention it has power, Im guessing she needs a tranny? If your doing the work yourself, surely any advice you need can be given by members of this board

Congratulations! Car looks great, and you should be able to touch up the bumper. Good luck.

Heck, I think you are closer to me than anyone else, I'm in Eugene, bout 30 miles south.

I have a garage full of SVX replacement parts as well, look me up if you need help, advice, parts, or just to talk shop.

Got it home

Dragged it home today :-) The battery was completely dead so we jumped it with my buddy's Subie so it'd be circulating fluid while we were towing it, even though it wasn't all that far... Putting it in gear does nothing, no movement, engine doesn't even load up... So I fear it's either got a grenaded part in the the tranny, the flexplate isn't bolted to the torque converter, or the pump is hosed...

But I have a pic of the whole car :-)

The Polara is kinda blockin it, and two of the wheels are on backwards (LF and RR)... Musta been whatever shop did the brake job...
