RHD workshop manuals

Thanks are due to James and Blake for all the ground work that has finally see us receiving, the Australian delived RHD workshop manuals. The only other option has been the US manual which for a 92 cost about $A400. These have landed here for $A190. We talked about this at our first meet and James and Blake have. done the job.
Thanks again men. Now the guessing can stop.
Harvey.

Two hoots and a holler!

Good show!

Uh....wouldn't it have been simpler to just peruse the LHD pages face down, over a strong lamp?

Harvey as we are standing on our heads down here surely we would have no problem as long as beav's lamp does not burn the paper but we would also have to use a mirror to read the text and who would hold that.

Your right, they don't realise the problems we have down here, trying to decipher the US information. eg two black boys, a searchlight, and an ankle frame, hanging from the roof.!
Harvey.

Thumbs up Slow hand jive

OK Whizzers of OZ, a right hand manual at that price looks attractive, I will have me one. Tell me if you have one available, and what it costs to ship to me. I will send funds, credit card, whatever.

If possible, reply to me before Thursday. I am off to Blighty Friday morning for the 10th Anniversary meet. We will have about 8 cars attending. I suspect some of these owners would be interested in a RHD Technical manual, so it would be handy to have the shipped price for Saturday, in case some of them would like to order.

Thanks in advance

Joe
And thanks to James and Blake for all the effort!

RHD Manuals

Hi

*cough* *hacking cough*

I rise my my deathbed to type this (flu! - pathetic attempt to obtain sympathy )

I'd sent you an email about our manual order about 3 months ago (when we placed the order) - essentially, the shipping costs would be horrendous (they weigh a ton!) so I will send you the part #'s of the manuals so that they can be ordered directly from Eire - will save a packet on postage and also allow you to confer with our Euro friends and see if they want any - perhaps a group order??

It took about 3 months from start to finish.

If this meets with no success, then I can order them again from down here but I shudder to think of the shipping.

REgards

James

Yellow fever

Sorry to hear it James.

I remember your email, was facing some big bills at the time, you know how it goes.

Send me the part numbers so. I will get our English friends to inquire at the main agents for a price. If that comes back in megabucks, like they do, it might be cheaper to put an order together for the Australia one at your price, and only pay one surface shipping charge.

Hope you are better soon.

Joe

Hi James,

Also sad you are physically sad at the moment and hope it does not last too long. If you are sending the numbers by email or PM please include me. Refer my previous posting.

Regards, Trevor. *<)

Thanks Trevor and Joe

Not a problem - I'll email all the relevant RHD drivers such as yourself and Joe so that the orders can be placed.

I will be picking the manuals up in two weeks (I have a major research paper due so that has priority) and as such, should have emailed the numbers a short time later.

*cough* *whezz* *Emmy performance for overacting

James

Don't panic James, no problems this end, in your own time. Thanks, Trevor.

Part numbers

James,

Do I understand correctly, you will not have access to the part numbers till your collection of books arrives?

If so, fine, I will just check with the group how many might be interested in purchasing at that price.

Off to my ferry to Blighty in the morning. Will fly the Irish flag in your honour.

Guy in the local photo shop[Fuji, no less] can convert APS cassettes into jpegs I think. So I may have a few shots you would like for the website.

Graham is coming with a 5 speed, will try and get a few shots of the interior finish to post up.

Say Hi! to peppe, get well soon, talk next week,

Joe
