We have an 8mm bolt and hole. He's talking about replacing the 8mm bolt with a 10mm bolt.

Yeah, the way I read it, we have an 8mm bolt through an 8mm bearing...

the other part he has uses a 10mm bolt, thus a 10mm hole (roughly of course)...

see where I got the 2mm bushing from now?

The thing is that the bolt thickness is 10mm compared to our 8mm size.

I think you mean the End link and not the bushing. I am looking at machining down the end links from 10mm to 8mm.

The bushings will be strictly the same as OEM but made out of Teflon.

Update

I was able to "squeeze" one bushing and stupidly broke the other . I asked the machinist to fabricate another for me. I am attempting a better fitting design...

You need one bushing?? Or one set bro ?
I will be sending also one set to Pavanbabut, he wants them...

The final product became different a little bit from the pic, each bushing is cut in half for easier fitment...

If anyone needs a set guys, I know a person going to the States on December 30, exactly to Calif. He will be sending them to Pavan and he can distribute them to the ones who want them...

So if anyone wants those bushings, make a group buy.

Danny,
I'd recommend not cutting the bushings in half "for easier fitment"...I think the bushings will end up working themselves out of the mounting strap under extended loading (note the "shoulder" on the stock bushing).

If anyone is looking for polyurethane bushings I still have a few sets left. They won't be as stiff as what Danny is doing but they are still much stiffer than OEM.

Bill those WILL NOT work themselves out of the mounting trap. Unlike rubber and polyurethane, those are like hard plastic bushings which are the closest to Aluminum bushings used in Rally cars. Why you think I broke one while installing? I was installing it from the tip of the bar into the hole of the bushing, but because Teflon doesn't bend much, it broke while hammering it into the bar.
So the next best thing is to cut it in half and install it on the bar. Anyways I will be testing them further this month, and I will ask my machinist to prepare them for those who want by late 20. My friend will be leaving to Paris on the 30th and on 12 January he will be in California.

So here we save some shipping

Update: Guys the price will be between $50 and $70 according to the number of those who want those bushings. Those are costing that much because of the high quality of Teflon used. The price can go down with lower Teflon qualities but I wouldn't recommend them. Anyways those who want them are so far:

1- OmanSVX
2- Pavanbabut
3- 92svx95
4- ???
