Transmission shift selector rod - replacement

I was in the process of changing the shift cable on my '92 SVX LS-L AWD, and I ran into some problems.

While trying to remove the external shift lever to change the bushing that was stuck on it, I ended up breaking the shift rod inside the transmission. See attached picture.

Anyone have a transmission they are parting out, or any suggestions where I can get this part?

Any suggestions on how to replace it would be great.

You can try subaruparts.com

They have them under transmission/control device.

Good luck

Pictures of lever

I'm helping moe_powah with this problem. We were able to get the spring pin out of the transmission shift shaft in order to get this gear selector lever out. Attached are pictures of the damaged spring pin and broken lever. Does anyone have this component? I checked the subaruparts.com website and did not see it. Jackie Whetzler at Annapolis Subaru is looking for one for me. Any help is appreciated, as we want to get this car back on the road!

Moe_pawah and I got the car apart, had the linkage welded back together and reinstalled the components. Everything works great now. Thanks to everyone who offered assistance!
