What is difference between SVX L and LE coupe?

I see there is a FWD L model and an LE model plus LS and LSI

But what is the difference between L and LE?

The L has manual seatbelts and dual airbags. The LE has power seatbelts and one airbag. That is the only difference that I know of.

so pretty much it was a trade off for an airbag to auto belts

Not Sure

I am not sure of the difference, but I can tell you how my LE is equipped. Gray vinyl interior (no suede or faux wood grain), cloth manual seats, no sunroof, no security system, no ABS, single airbag (I think more of a function of when in 94 made instead of model), automatic seatbelts and of course no CD player.

Mine now has leather power seats, aftermarket sunroof, CD player and security system.

I just put the seats from a 92 in it. The necessary electrical connection was there for the driver's seat. The aftermarket sunroof is a glass roof and was in the car when I bought it. It works fine until you get to about 130mph ( ) and then it tries to raise slightly.

sounds like you need an aftermarket wind deflector to place in front of the sunroof.

L-
Standard with cloth seats, dual air bags, crappy vynal armrests / interior peices, no sunroof, no ABS, no AWD (Unless after 1995) no security unit, no woodgrain, manual belts
LS- Standard with ecsaine / vynal seats, ecsaine interior panels, drivers side airbag, woodgrain.Power seatbelts. No security, no sunroof, and I believe abs was optional

I don't follow the LS or L designation..... Mine is an L, but has most options to NOT be an L.... you know what I mean? Isn't it based on the VIN #?

My Vin number has a 3 for model and it's an untouched dealer original.
