i took Mrs. Shark's WRX in to the dealer once for oil, but only because i had a $9.95 coupon. i couldn't even do it cheaper.

i just like doing it myself - you know its done right, and its fairly easy. i'll pop the plug off, let it drain a while, and come back later for the filter and fill.

i modified my LGT for easy cabin filter swaps while i had the interior apart for the stereo. i doubt that woman even knows if her car has a cabin filter or not. she was probably told her air filter needed changed.

I wouldn't bank on that....they really don't car if you bring the car in clean or dirty....I've never seen them give me a car or truck back clean or cleaner than I brought it...Subaru or Chevy speaking for.
