my drivers rear sags.
finally pulled out the rear shelf today and found that it is not the strut mount. They are in like new condition. I also jacked up the rear end and felt around the top of the shock and the mounts are nice and smooth up there too - no rust. So what else could be making the left rear sag? There is no wheel gap at all on that side. About 1 inch on the other side. I can't find anything broken or looking out of place so far.

Is the rubber piece in between the top of the spring and the strut mount intact? Also check the motion of the rear strut to see that it isn't sticking.

In this case I would locate the cause of it, either strut mount or coil springs or even struts, and I would change both sides. Otherwise I will risk to have again one side lower than the other, I mean if you put for example a new mount on the damaged side and keep the other side as is, the used one would look lower, on the other side.
I dunno this is what I do, even paying big $ for it...

Put your knee on the corner of the rear bumper and put weight on it in a bouncing motion. As you do this pay attention to how it recovers, listen for any sounds or non-fluid movement. Check the strut body to see if it is damp also, it should be dry as a bone. You don't have anything in the trunk (Had to ask).

I just noticed you have poly swaybar bushings, are they in the rear also? Not sure if it's possible, but mabey one of the bushings is binding. Someone with a little more knowledge on this back me up here. They may need a little lube.
