Power Steering Install help

Well i am not so sure what i got myself into, but i am currently attempted a ps rack install. I have the factory manuals which are very helpful...however it seems everything that could go wrong has! First off...the car is a northeastern car so every freakin bolt is rusted and tight as heck! I've managed to strip a couple (all of this is being done by hand tools by the way). So anyway enough of my rambling...i have a few questions..

1. Does the front exhaust HAVE to be removed to get the steering rack out?

2. Is there a special tool to remove the FTJ from the front axle? I've used grounded down nails, bits, everything and that thing won't budge!

3. Does the power steering rack just slide into the universal joint assembly? There doesn't appear to be a bolt and the factory manuals don't mention anything specifically.

4. What do you guys do for rusted/stripped/stubborn bolts? I've coated the heck out of them with pb blaster and still nothing...

That should be it for now, i am going to take a break mainly cause i am freezing I am working in an uninsulated garage and its 25 degrees out! Thanks for any help, i greatly appreciate it! Thanks, chris
