Why no lug no wheel comes off?
I've got my car jacked up in a garage, and I'm taking the passenger side wheels off, or rather I'm trying to.
I took the lugs off the front one, but it's like stuck, so I went to the rear, it's stuck too. Even though the lugs are removed there is no wobble in the wheel and I cannot budge it at all. Last place to have the wheels off was FATS. I wonder if they did something. Or... is there some trick that I've never had to deal with before? What does this usually mean when the wheels are stuck on? Something broken?

The aluminum wheel is stuck to the hub,
Kick one side of the wheel in toward the car, this will pop it loose..

Sometimes I've had to take a BFH and hit outward from under the car. Be careful not to damage the rim or tire though

I wouldn't use a prybar - you might damage something. I use the handle on my rubber mallet. I stick the handle in the spokes and pry against the rotor. It usually doesn't take much, but then I don't drive the car a lot, either.
When I had to replace one of the axles on my wife's Legacy last year, one of the steelies was stuck on. I tried for over an hour to get that stupid wheel off. Eventually I used a gear puller. Unfortunately my head was right next to the wheel. I didn't expect that it would come off the way it did...you know, with a big gunshot sort of sound as it flew right at me.

I wacked it with a small sledge. At first I went for the inside, and it budged, so then I just tapped the outer tire and it came loose after nearly rebounding into my face.
Thanks guys. edit: Wow nothing like taking half an hour to remove one wheel.

Haven't had this problem on the svx but on my old wagon when I lived in salt encrusted new york I had to hit the rubber part of the tire with a sledge hammer from underneath the car to get the wheels off.
Have you tried just lowering the car slowly down onto the tire enough to put pressure on the wheel - this might break it free.

Another option is to slightly loosen the nuts on each wheel before jacking then rock the car side to side to loosen the wheels.

Those are both good ideas.
I'm done today. Changed my rear brakes and removed that intake resomabobber while the wheels were off. I am a dirty boy. Not sure how it got all over my face though. What's that yellow thing in the intake fender place? e: OH, I lifted the whole car onto stands and ran it. My AWD works Front wheels were spinning about twice as fast as the rears at idle.
