Insallation of external tranny cooler - where

Hello,

I purchased the aftermarket B&M super-cooler (transmission oil cooler) for my SVX. The instructions give 3 options

install in front of the radiator
install between the radiator and the AC condensor
install behind radiator and AC condensor

Which is best? Also my mechanic is concerned with installing it in front of the radiator. He says this will restrict air-flow to the radiator and the AC condensor / may also rub a hole in the radiator / and may affect cooling.

Is this something to be concerned about? If it is not a good idea to install in front of radiator, then where should it be installed?

Thanks,

likethecube
