Dropping Resistor

Does anyone know if item number 3 in this diagram: http://www.svxparts.com/diag/?model=...category=184-A
is our "famed" dropping resistor for Duty Solenoid A. It looks like it is, but the diagram shows it as vertical instead of horizontal.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll get a call from the tranny shop telling me that this is the problem (after I showed them where it was -- sheesh). If so, I'll tell them to leave it unplugged, button it up and I'll pick it up immediately.

When I decide to move somewhere where they actually know what an SVX is -- and then, from what I've read, it's a crapshoot.

Wow... $53 for a $1 resistor... I'm in the wrong business...

Really, if that thing is busted, a $1 resistor, and a simple soldering job will do the trick. Mine hasn't complained, and it's been 18 months.
