power shift question
uh... How do I turn it off?
I've only had my car on the road for a day and I'm noticing goofy switches between third and fourth. I know the car has a transmission problem (whose doesn't?) but I also noticed that the "power shift" light is on. I've tried hitting the button again to try to turn it off, but the light still stays on. I don't get it. Any suggestions? |

Also, when the transmission dies, what is a good donor car to scrounge another one from? Is there anyone out there who just said "screw it" and went for the 5spd manual conv when the auto tranny bit it?

Re: power shift question

Describe your "goofy switches between third and fourth." Having never before driven a car with an auto/overdrive, I thought the torque converter lockup felt a little goofy in my car until I figured-out what was going on. Good luck, dcb |
