A Funny Fhing Happened ......
The other day, while accelerating thru my favorite S-bend, I heard this rattling sound like a screw came loose and was rolling around. I searched for it to no avail. I went to my favorite mechanic/Subaru Master Tech. and he couldn't find anything.
Careful diagnosis by an expert confirmed my worse fear. It's me not the car. I definitely have a screw loose. Gotcha All !! Larry III |

Seriously, I DID have a "rattling screw loose type" sound in my car. It would happen when I stopped. It would happen sometimes on curves. It was driving me crazy. I couldn't think what it could be. Then, one day, when I was vacuuming my car, I happened to hit the button on the passenger's ashtray. Inside was my cigarette lighter, just where I'd put it. The lightbulb went off -- now, I can ingnore it, and not be paranoid.

My ex-wife once thought she had a screw loose but it ended up being a loose nut behind the wheel. (and it was so hard not agreeing with her...)
