I definitely plan on doing it that way. I'm thinking of dynoing the car stock...and while they wait for the exhaust to cool down putting on a cone air filter. Then once they've fabricated a full exhaust system (headers, hi flow cats, single pipe ending in dual tips) I'll re-dyno the car the same day.

However, my plans were pushed back today, as the dealer and I didn't come to terms. The price for the '96 SVX L was fine (7K), but they tried to low ball me by over 2K on my trade-in (SVT Lightning). This may only end up being a 1-2 month set back - I'll just need to get the pay-off on my truck down a bit more or sell it to a private party.

On the up note, I did get a chance to drive around in the '96 SVX L for another 1/2 hour this morning which was pretty cool. The car just feels so rock solid and the visibility is excellent for a sports car (previously had a '90 300ZX TT). The car is definitely in good shape for 95K miles and the transmission shifted smoothly during upshifts/ downshifts. There was also no 'clunking' noise when I put it in reverse and then back into drive.

I just hate it when dealers play games with you...
