Newcastle Rocks!

Newcastle is the best place to go for a cruise!

I met up with Paul and Kiernan yesterday afternoon and Newcastle was ready for us- hot cars everywhere and people had lined the median strip on fold up chairs with the sole purpose of watching cars.

We would like to do it properley in 2 weeks- is this too soon for everyone? Sydney people could meet at Hornsby/ somewhere near the start of freeway and head up. We could do some laps and have a BBQ in the park while watching other cars & drooling over ours

I'm having trouble getting pics on because home computer is stuffed and i didn't have any blank cds last night so i need to copy pics and bring them to work sometime during the week.

Nice bike Kiernan but it isnt an svx

Moshol
ps. James, didn't notice any Camrys amongst the RXes & skylines but i'm sure you could start a new trend.

Sorry I couldn't make it!

I would have liked to come along on that drive - but........

On Saturday morning, I took the SVX to a good mechanic friend of mine to machine the front discs and fit new pads all round.

That was fine, but in the process, we discovered that the front CV joint boots had split - ON BOTH SIDES!!

The grease had completely covered the front suspension and tie rods!!!

Until I get this fixed (probably on Wednesday), I am doing as little driving as possible!

At least I can use the brakes without the whole car shuddering!

Jason.

Hey Jason

Hope the car is not too costly
Do you drive down Harris Street every afternoon? I'm usually on it at about 10 past 5 but only for 1 block as i head to the harbour bridge & i think you go to Anzac Bridge.....keep an eye out!

I'm sure you will enjoy Newcastle......i got a bit carried away with the whole cruise scene yesterday and i was wearing my sisters "i love summer" visor sideways on my head. I think this will be a permanent part of the cruise uniform.

I do! Not only that, but I also head for the harbour bridge!

Try to be there around 5:10 - let's see what happens!

Yes. Yes.

The visor was a nice touch to the atmosphere I thought. Made you look like you meant business! (might have to find one of my own...hmmm. Perhaps we should have got a photo of that too...).

It was great to see some other SVX lovers again too! Hope alot of you can make it on Sunday week!! Looking forward to it!

Paulie
