I have a two car, semi-heated garage. The SVX, the 911, and the motorcycle get to live inside. The Jeep, Impreza, 53 Chevy pickup, and the other SVX all get stuck outside. I hear them whispering out there, and I fear there may be a revolt in the works.

lucky one

I get to work on it in a 4 bay heated drained garage with more tools then I've ever seen at any repair shop in my entire life... Company with more money then it knows what to do with, Us repair guys get to buy what ever we want. when ever. And everyone is loose about bringing personal stuff in and working on it. They wouldn't give me a bay to do something like a tranny change, but I can have it for a whole day at any time.

Course as soon as it goes home, it goes back to the unheated two bay garage that is reserved for my baby '72 CL 175 Honda, various wood working equipment, and for some reason the Toyota Echo takes precidence for the remaining space. Leaving my SVX to shiver outside. I tell you, my parents have thier priorities screwed up...

That's a negative.... They don't provide military enlisted with parking garages here on base...

We have a heated two-car with no floor drain. Four vehicles currently, which means hubby's two have to be outside. Penny is always inside and Silver Dollar is fast wearing out its welcome. Hopefully just a couple more weeks and it will be out of the garage.

We only have a 2-car garage. Pearly & SUBYDOO sit in it.
Unfortunately, AH SO & SVXY are relagated to the driveway.

Let's see... there were SVXes for 6 model years. That means we need a garage space for 7 vehicles plus one empty bay for working. That's 8 total. We already have a 2-car garage.
So 8-2=6. We need to build a 6 car garage.
We have the land for it , but it will require moving the landscape beds behind the driveway, existing garage & kitchen. It will probably mean extending widening the driveway for a turning area.
It's doable but expensive. I could always name it the "National SVX Museum" and charge admission.

I have a 7 bay heated garage with 4 lifts and all the tools I need for anything, altho it's 45mins away and is called work. And even thoe I could live there I don't think my wife would like it. Hell she already thinks I live there.

But back at home I have a car port Yeah, no walls but it's better than nothing. When time and money permit I'm building an extension off the front of the living room to make a two car garage for the SVX and the Turbo Legacy, they will pretty much be inside the house with a nice open vewing window from the living room, and then I will make the car port a real garage for the Loyal and the beater. Hell it beats having to clean the snow off.

I do not have a garage.

But I can Dreammmmm

Sometimes when I see a garage I think that would be nice. Then I look a little closer and see that behind the windows there is stuff lots of stuff. It's a storage facility all filled up. Nice yeah but not THAT garage. Oh well that would not be my house. I guess some people do not work on there cars. I just do not understand.
