One for the Kevin Smith Fans

Or fans of comic books, too. Someone had to show some love for Kevin, since no one in the "Quotes" thread was.

Clerks is one of the best movies. Ever.

Kevin Smith's "Jersey Girl" was supposed to come out a few months back. It "stars" Ben & Jen. After their most recent "hit" movie, the studios decided to hold off on the release. I wonder if it will ever make it to the big screen?

From what I've seen and heard of Jersey Girl, J.Lo dies within about 5mins. I think this is going to be the best Kevin Smith flick yet.

Correction: 12mins. Still just as good, though.

I have the 5 ViewAskew-niverse flicks, plus the Clerks:The Animated Series DVD. Clerks:TAS is okay, it's just a little too Simpsons and South Park and not enough Clerks for my taste. The next Askew-niverse flick is going to be Clerks X (or Clerks:Sell Outs, or Clerks:Still Clerkin'). It's going to be animated in the same style as Clerks:TAS, just more like the original movie with more Askew-niverse characters. Any guesses about the plot? Dante and Randall make a B&W movie about their jobs. It's also going to include the lost "Julie Dwyer's Funeral" scene. Too sweet. I also really want to check out Smith's two little known movies, Drawing Flies and Vulgar. Anyone seen these two yet?

Right now I'm trying to get my wife to let me get the sweet Clerks InAction Figures, so I can make my own little Kevin Smith shrine.
