No, I meant when Jeep builds an SUV, it is usually a true SUV, as in, it has off road capability, and an off road durable reputation. Nissan hasn't 'proven' the Xterra yet. While it might be alright now, will it still be crawling over rocks 10 years from now? Or will it rust away like most older pathfinders?

Actually I had the forester and I found it was lacking in space. any way I have a old doge caravan just take all the seets out and head to home depot and if you screw it up with wood and stuff you just don't care because well its an old dodge caravan.

SUV....Sport Utility Vehicle
thats why they call them SUVs.....
They arent 3/4 ton 4x4s or even Off Road vehicles nor intended
to go out boony-ing. Although some try...
When I buy an SUV thats exactly what I expect to get and do with it..

If I wanted an all out 4x4 Id get a 71-73 Bronco hands down
the best 4x4 ever built....
Maybe a 79-80 Bronco too...or 73 Ford f150 short bed 4x4.
...or sure, even a f250 with factory hi boy option.

The whole benifit of having an off-road vehicle is that you can park, drive, climb, and go where other cars can't. Anytime I can park my Loyal in the most obscure place, you bet I do it, And when cars are stopped to turn in front of you, you can just run up on the curb and go around them. If someone tries to force you over in traffic you just look down at them and smile like go on and try it. Thats why I love my Loyal, I just don't care, I use the body to navigate turns and it's got a bumper that can open normal car like a can opener. That is a true off-road vehicle, if your afraid to scratch the paint then just keep to paved roads sissy.
