You do need to use the stock mounting plates. They need to be trimmed some, and you'll need some washers for spacers. The writeup is on the forum.

Here's a rough idea of the cut I made. I think the spacers come to 1/4".

Left: complete. Right: slashes represent area scheduled for demolition.

Re: urgent reply needed please (rallisport eng mounts)

turns out they arent keen on doing any modifying of any sort to them for legality/insurance issues , so im getting my dad (hes a deisel mech/general mech/fabricator of 35+ years exp) to do the modifying which saves me a little bit of $$ just gotta buy him a case of beer
( i could have got him to do the whole lot but he doesnt have a lift or the time to as hes pretty much flat out 6 days a week and works in his garden on his day off )

letitsnow them and dad wernt keen on the washer idea as it doesnt leave a whole lot of surface area between the plate and mount , so dads going to make a couple of plates at whatever thickness out of steel

they did the hgs put new idler pulleys on new tbelt new tensioner and are doing a general service and blue slip and its going to cost me about 2500 roughly i think

they had the engine out anyway so exhaust was already disconnected
im not quite sure how to get them undone either i think the botton nut is in the crossmember like the left and the rest i wouldnt have a clue (probably alot easier on a lift to work it out )

Re: urgent reply needed please (rallisport eng mounts)

It doesn't surprise me that they opted to pass on the washers. Doing it again, I'd have my boss cut me up a pair of plates (not an option before - I didn't know him then!) It's been shown on the forum both ways.

I hope my picture was at least a little useful for the process!

yeah haha me either. they opted to pass on doing any modifying of it thats why i got my dad to do it for me , yeah i explained what had to be done to them to dad and he said no worries to easy

hes the type of mech/fabricator that if there isnt something made too do the job that is needed to be done he will make something to do it

heres a youtube vid of an example
(the drum was out of round so he made a lathe with a horse a vice a cutting bit and the drum motor )
