Saw that both Joe (svxistentialist) and Mike (Green1995svx) have been elevated above the huddled, unwashed masses to wield the mighty, omnipotent Moderator stick.

Used to vanquish those who engage in petty squabbles and loud mouthed disagreements based on sketchy facts and unquoted sources, these men have taken on a thankless task, heretofore handled by Randy himself.

I grovel at your feet my mighty moderators .

This is a very high honour, I am impressed, or at least I am imp.

Have had to take a rapid correspondence course in the verbal equivalent of jiu jitsu.

Of course, it has escaped your notice I am moderating the European forum, mostly populated by the english speaking Followers of St George. They invented decorum. They get a stiff upper lip, because they are trained to think before they speak. Pointless moderating them.

Unlike you lot in the colonies.

However, if anbody steps outta line, I'm gonna smack 'em down hard. Real hard. But I may have to wait awhile till some of the Aussie or New Zealand imigrants buys an SVX. Or an ex-Pat Shamus, perhaps.

You've heard about "taking a deep breath and counting to 10?" I've been taking lots of deep breaths and counting to 10 . . . a lot lately. Had to take a short "sabatical" before I said something "unmoderatorly." Am curtailing my involvement for a bit. Thus, the additional moderator.

I am still "here" just not as participatory at the moment.
