Another SVX back on the road.
Just an for anyone that heard the story, my car was out of commission earlier this year...the tragic event posted here
http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36916 but it is now back on the road! Thanks to TomsSVX, I installed the water pump and idler pulley myself (he gave them to me for free.) I still had to pay $700 to replace two other stuck pulleys, install the timing belt, and put everything back together, but it beats the $1300 i would have had to pay without those parts installed. So thanks again to TomsSVX. Oh, even though I am pumped to have it back on the road, I am disappointed that the driver's side window does not work. The little plastic "sleeve lock regulator" clip busted and if anyone knows where to get one I would appreciate it. I contacted mitsubishiparts.com about it, apparently they had it at one time, but have not received a reply. |

Actually for us in the east Liberty Subaru has better prices, charges actual shipping and is faster at shipping since we're closer. If its in stock I get the item faster than I can from my local dealer. Glad you're back on the road.
