Hey Jerry,

If your welder is ready to go, I may have a job for you tomorrow...

I'm coming to pick up that Claret of Tom's and the trailer needs some work that is beyond the capacity of Ben's welder.

I will be between the 'clarette' and Tom's house!!

I gave that up to take a job with 'the man' that paid the bills, and covered all the RX that my wife needed..While all that was happening, I was winning "beater" compititions with the stuff I drove, because all the effort went to where the money was coming from!!
I'll be making my shop (s) available to Tom for all other Subi-related things!! The campfires and camping are 'complimentary', IF the campers bring beer, marshmallos, hotdogs, and occasionally, GOOD STEAKS!!!

We KNOW how to 'respect' a really good cut of meat, and the proper handeling of such items!! Delmonico, NewYork strip, etc are NOT wasted on us!!!

Stop by!!!

Grand opening is set for June 1'ST', unless we can get rid of the deadwood before Memorial weekend!! Then we will party on that weekend, and let the 'formal' opening for the next week!!!

Been spinning our wheels for 10 years, this is the first "spring" worth celebrating!!!!

Sure, I will think of stopping by if there's a chance.

I heard from Tom that you do bodywork as well... Both my SVXi need bodywork to be strict...I have dents on Teal and a rust spot on the Yellow. Do you give subarus special offers?

Good nite, I hope you guys have fun tomorrow. Take some pictures and drink some cool beers.

Ben has to work and watch his little one. Melis and her daughter won't be along either, she's working and she's in school.

I'll be sticking around till Wednesday morning, so if that would work better for the welding then that will work for me. I'll see ya sometime in the next two days.

THE OFFERS CANNOT BE REFUSED?

I may let you know when I have the financial freedom to plan for that. Time is okay(I can take turn driving my cars)...when Red Hill Auto Center worked on my car, I always let them have my car for weeks and hopefully for a good job.

Heh..... you're thinking of the Brits. Germans like their beer cold! At one point my fridge was so full of beer, there was little room for anything else. So I finally had to go out and get another fridge.

Depends on several factors, There are many thing going on in my life right now, and I am still trying to get that second 'pour' happening before any more trucks show up to unload. The rain has put the brakes on the next few days but I dragged my ' sleep deprived carcass' down there today to finish the grading on the second site, mere moments before the rain came back!!

what do u think of the 'farm'??
Does it Look like a fun place to waste 48 hours of your life?? I've wasted every available day I've had for 10 years there!!!
I showed up just after you left on wed!!! I had some business to deal with.....
"Target date " for the official, Grand re-opening , is Memorial weekend!!

We have 'curtailed' most activities till we get the place cleaned up!

is the white car coming back to Cumb for Mothers day weekend???

Jerry

( Dan can weld anything but a broken heart!!)

It might be a 'carry-over from WW II, when the Germans blew up the power grid w the bombings!! ( I can't see the Brits letting a little thing like an AIR RAID get in the way of drinking beer!!!)

The Germans I met had everyone drinking warm beer!!!
But then, they were bikers, and would have a hard time carrying a cooler on a hog!!
Warm beer makes me burp too much!!! I prefer mine with little ice crystals............I guess that's why I usually drive a pick up, I can haul a freezer, if need be.......

svxfiles said he was going to post a fewpics.....

I have vidio, but no pics's of the latest developments at the farm! Tom grabbed a few shots, and asked my permission to post them, and I allowed that, even though I had no opportunity to pre-view...he did mention a shot of a 'carving' in the old 'pour' that says " Mopar Rules", but that is meant for a different 'demographic', since it is hard for a 3.3 , 6, to run with a Kieth Black Hemi!!
We love all cars!!! And realize that different cars were meant for different things!!! Kieth Black Hemi's were meant to run a 1/4 mile in 5 seconds, and subarus were meant to get you to work or the market with a lot of snow on the ground!!
I drive Subaru when I need milk or bread, or a good time at the autocross, and Dodge's when I want to hurt my neck with G-forces in a straight line!!

However, I have never tried to autocross a Dodge, since I really don't want to spin out on the second turn!!

You should meet my Hubby's biker friends. For weekend trips, the guys ride while many of the wives follow with the kids in camper/vans. Lots of room for not just coolers, but actual fridges They even bring along automatic coffee machines - the big ones that grind the beans and make coffee a cup at a time so it is always fresh!

Guess it's a slightly different breed of biker over here, at least the ones I've met
