I second this. I joined about a month ago to get some advice but I find this web forum is one of the best around.
I went from: buying an SVX----finding out how expensive a stock tranny swap would be-------joining here------finding a replacement tranny and rear diff from a 97 Outback the next day------to thinking I may not ever sell my SVX.  \I'm in the middle of the swap right as I type.

This is my third one, I ve owned an SE and a TII. I picked this one up (88 GXL) at a local salvage yard it had been pretty much gutted. I pretty much fully restored it, the engine is a 94 5.0 bored to a 306. Not sure if your friends would appreciate it as much as you, since I swapped in the piston motor.
