i seriously may take you up on the offer. i am in the process of hitting up a friend who works for an airline up for a couple of buddy passes. i'd love to drive out there, but hubby has a boondoggle in tucson, az starting monday after the meet, so flying's our only option this year. i will pm you with details as soon as i know more.

And Kennith my offer stands as well. Provided I don't come through with my attempts with Subiesport, my SVX can always be spared to save ya from the dreaded rentalmobile. I'd also offer ya a bed but with my wife being 8.5 months pregnant come the meet I don't think she'd appriciate that one

a lot has happened since my last post here. hubby's boondoggle in tucson most likely won't happen because he plans on quitting his job at the veterinary clinic and going back to work at the casino (where we met) and will be working every weekend. starting a new job, he probably shouldn't be requesting any time off. right now, i don't work on weekends and probably could go to reading by myself. my buddy that works for frontier airlines can get me standby tickets to PHL for $55, but i don't know if i can take the risk of not getting on the flight since frontier only has one flight per day. however, i can purchase a round-trip ticket for $218.40 (fees included). it's getting hard for me to not consider going.

Tell hubby to wait til 2 weeks before quiting the vet's and have him tell the Casino he will come back Apr 12th........

if he stays at the vet, he will be expected to go to tucson. at our casino, he's already getting first choice of schedule. i think he should please the new employer and allow me to attend reading by myself.

Unless of course you'd rather hubby not come to Reading

i think the job offer is dependent on him working the grand re-opening which is scheduled for march 3rd.

i just talked to hubby and i think he really wants to go. i kinda thought he'd be bored out of his mind. he prolly just wants to go hunting for snakes.
