I did the best I could considering a broken rubberband and spring winding key.

Actually I've been shown some timeslips in the 12's from svx's with stage II but none have been posted on these forums. It was someone here that sent me the link though. Maybe they will come accross this thread so we don't have to wait for subafreak to post his times.....of course now that he has his transmission parts maybe not too long till you have timeslips subafreak?

A 12 sec Stage II awd SVX wouldn't surprise me one bit, as Poweredx2's runs were with his fwd SVX that was grappling for traction...

Wouldn't surprise me if the owner of those slips was Dayle @ MotorSport since I know he has a Stage II kit on one of his SVXs and runs at the dragstrip a lot.

-Chike

P.S. After getting my '97 Legacy Outback trans installed, the first 14 sec awd 4EAT SVX run should be in the books.

Tell us more. Any quirks? How do you like the shift points? For my own curiosity if you could.......if you shift at 6500 in each gear what speed is each shift at? How about at 7,000?

Btw Jesse...

With your new exhaust system, 6spd, etc. - where do you think your SVX will be in the 1/4 mile all-motor?

I imagine you'll be doing some "shake-down" 1/4 mile runs on the motor first before adding the juice!

-Chike

P.S. You should take that bad boy down to your local dump to get in weighed in. I'm interested in knowing what it comes to with the sports seat installed and the other weight reduction you've done.

No quirks so far but I only drove it around for like 1/2hour. It feels smoother on the highway now, but like I said it seems to tach even higher than the 5 speed at 80mph. I think the 5 speed was at 3,200rpms and the six speed runs at 3,500rpms. I'll have to get back to you on the shift points.

The new exaust to acctually a down sizing from the old system but should still be pleanty of flow and it's alot lighter with half the cat's, pipe, and pre-silencers. The new system is alot quieter too, but I guess thats not a bad thing either. I will get it weighed next time I go to the track and yeah I'll give it a few motor runs befor I hit the bottle. Besides I think under 13 you need a helmet. So I'll save it for the end of the day

If it's NHRA, you need a helmet for 13.99 seconds or faster.

Why would you want to scramble your brains without a helmet?
