Where are they now?
I have often wondered what became of the earlier SVX prototypes. Does anyone know where they are now? Anyone have pictures that we haven't seen before?
I often drive by the Subaru USA HQ in Cherry Hill and wonder if there's anything interesting stored there!?!??! Hmmmmmm......

They're usually destroyed... most prototypes are. i think it would be very rare for one to be kept...

I think the prototype that was showed at 89 tokyo autoshow is still kept in somewhere with other subaru show cars. Only it was painted in red. I saw pictures somewhere. The bumpers were cracked little bit. And it's not drivable anymore.
I will post pics when I found those. Do you guys like the prototypes? -Ryu

Now I found pics..
  I heard the other SVX show car, "SVX Greenish air" is actually owned by someone and driven everyday in Japan. .. The production silver SVX that was first displayed at Tokyo auto show(the one Giugiaro actually sat on the seat) is still in good shape, driven by people who really care about SVX. -Ryu

owning one of the prototypes would be kinda nice but just tell me where i can get that trunk lid and ill be happy
 someone needs to make one.

Only the SVX pace car is stored in the Cherry Hill, NJ area. The last I heard it was not in running conditin.

if you show up in Cherry Hill looking for the Pace Car you'll be in the wrong town. <<Someone had pics of that pace car at one time. Are there any that haven't been posted?>> here is one i havent posted, ( i don't think)
