Out of a 94 LS 197xxx on it ran strong. Was just about to do a head gasket job on it then crashed into a tree but still started and ran good. Will include new head gaskets too. $400?

damn the luck. were the head gaskets for sure gone? or were you planning on preventive work?
its probably too far for reasonable shipping but I have a friend that may be interested.

Where exactly is the engine located? My brother could potentially pick this up for me. I'm originally from So*Cal, currently in So*Dak, and will be returning in about a month and this would be a great start to my current engine build. This way I only have to swap engines!

I could drive it for about 40 min before it would start to over heat. But if I down shifted and brought my rpm up it would cool down again. It was strange but after replacing the entire cooling system it had to be the HG. And no water in the oil. So I know it was a exhaust leak into the cooling system

Oh also I pulled the complete wire harness and ecu. So if anyone has a vw bus or another project car they want a eg33 in but don't want to kill a good svx I'm your guy.

ya thats head gasket, mild but over time will get worse. I don't think shipping to florida would make this a worthwhile venture but good luck with the sale.

Check your local area for 'LTL freight' companies

Thats not the name of the company, just the type of business. means Less Than Total Load.

I shipped a few EJ22Ts to new york a few years back. None of the big companies gave me quotes that made any sense so I used a local freight company I found in the phone book.

Could you do me a huge favour and measure the ID of the exhaust manifold outlet (2 bolt flange) and the center-to-center spacing of the bolts on the 2-bolt outlet flange?
