I'm about to pay $6K for a 92 with 70K verified (with my own eyes) "little old lady miles" My aunt is selling me her 92. I'm probably getting taken but considering she just did a tune-up and timing belts, and I know it's never been beaten I figure it's not bad.

You are NOT "getting Taken", Mike.
I paid $6,500 for a '92 a year & a half ago, with 76K, from a stranger. Luckily, the car has been solid. You KNOW your car has been treated well. Enjoy!

Ron.

could be a typo
Had a ford taurus with 130K miles and the dmv gave me a title with 30K miles they left out the 100K....great for me--crap for the next guy
but I drove it til it died so it didnt matter
It is only important if you plan on selling the car down the line--
the wear and tear should be caught by an experienced mechanic..
so good luck---Squiggy

Thanks. I was worried that since it was @ or > what a lot of them I've seen are going for I might be getting taken, but figured the guaranteed non-beating is worth it.

Prick of a seller....

Well, my UNKNOWN MILAGE $5500 1997 SVX fell through. After negotiating the price 4 days earlier, he called and said he just couldn't sell it for that price. I had spoken with him 6 times since we had agreed on a price and had even gotten directions to his place just an hour before he called at 5:30pm on Friday. "I just think I can get a little more for this car" he said. I had paid for a hotel in his area so that I could drive there the night before and pick the car up early in the morning... I had a Certified Check in my hand made out to him for $5500 (that cost me $20) and I was headed to his location when he called. I wasted an entire weekend because of this guy. Jackass....
