I also ran across something called the WX-1 but the page was in Russian and i didnt care much for snooping through foreign pages. looked like what the Amadeaus turned in to.

So now it's the Subaru WRX STi WR1?
I swear this is some sort of experiment by Subaru to see how many letters of the alphabet they can use to name one car. I have changed my subtitle to reflect my opinion of this.

I'm glad it affected someone. It's not called WRX though. It symbolizes winning the WRC. World Rally Won. This is my guess at least. Either that or it's a number designation, meaning number 1, as in top dog.

WR1 - SWEET!
WX-1 - Simply a syling exercise by Subaru for the autoshows in '99 or so. Built on an Impreza chasis, I believe. I have pics in my locker if anyone is interested.
