interior light issues....HELP
Not a single interior light works on my 92' SVX.
No overhead, maps, doors, floors or instrument panel, nada! However, all other accessories work fine: mirrors, lapbelts, clock, stereo.... What can be the common factor be that effects all interior lighting????? |

Re: interior light issues....HELP
Check the two ground connections under the passenger seat, on the raised section alongside of the ABS control unit, and fastened with a single screw.

Check fuse #25 in the main box..... it supplies both the courtesy lights and the time control unit. Its the 4th blade fuse down on the left side, engine compartment box. |

Re: interior light issues....HELP
ok, not a fuse.
Looking for the b91 plug. Only black plug I can find is on the P/S floor, not a 20 pin. Have a picture by chance? Thanks |

Re: interior light issues....HELP
I do not see any confirmation that this has been checked. Based on logic this is a very possible fault.

Re: interior light issues....HELP
There's also a ground wire that runs under the centre console. I'm not sure what it grounds but worth a check.
When you remove the centre console it's aft of the shifter |

Re: interior light issues....HELP
hi well since you found the unit you might as well make sure you have all the power there ,since there is 2 plugs there ,b91 red wire pin 3 12v from fuse 9,pin 7 blue/white 12v fuse 3,b90 red/white pin9 fuse 15 ,blue/red pin2 fuse 25,by the book the ground is the same as door locks ,turn signals and you dont have problems with them ,all the rest is in the bulk head wiring harness so i dont think theres another plug un done
good luck ,ill keep looking |

I did forget to mention that I lost one by one. First the spot/room lights went, then the floor lights, then RS door, a finally LS door and instrument panel. THis was about a two year process. Strange that power windows, sunroof, radio, seatbelts, locks and climate control still work. Would the timer control unit go bad? |

Re: interior light issues....HELP
I haven't checked all of the bulbs, but I did replace the door bulbs with no luck.
The fuses look good, but I am going to put a meter on them. Thanks |
