I've used them and they work perfectly. As Gordon said, if you have a REALLY deep speaker, it can interfere with the window, but there aren't many speakers where this would be an issue.

Also, to anyone replacing front speakers on the SVX, I STRONGLY suggest getting speaker baffles. The door design allows no protection for the speaker from moisture. This only aids in the foam surrounds rotting away. Not an issue with most aftermarket speakers that use rubber or another material as opposed to foam, but it still protects the speaker. Crutchfield carries them though I think I found them somewhere else.
