other cf projects?
besides the hood being considerably heavy, what other part of the body would be the next heaviest, and would a cf replacement be realistic, possible? just thoght I would get the gears grinding on other cf body parts

what I want to replace...
1. First on my list was the hood (but all you guys beat me to it!! )
2. Next would be the front fenders (trying to get as much weight off the front car as possible). 3. After that, the trunk would go. 4. fourth, the door covers would be prime candidates (if crash protection isn't compromised *too* much) 5. and finally, an easy freeby, the sunroof. optional 6. lexan roll-downs |

I was thinking the hood, front bumper, front quarter panels, skid plate, rear quarter panels. I think the trunk would be good, but complex, and it would require much in the way of reinforcement. Might not be worth it. I would not mess with the doors. Too much of a safety hazard. Doing the sunroof would be good, but I would first reinforce it with cross members to ensure proper stiffening, then cover it with cf or dark lexan, and remove the mechanical components. Maybe a rally top vent. Just my two cents.
