Windshield repair?
Hi guys just a question. I was at Apple Autoglass today to get a new windshield in the 97 Legacy. Asked the guy the cost of replacing the windshield on the SVX. He couldn't believe it but it came out to $3,550.00. My question is, I have a few very small chips from stones on the windshield. He said it would be $75 for the first and $25 for each one thereafter. There appear to be a total of three. Considering the expense of replacing the glass, it makes sense to me to get this work done if it stops the window from eventually cracking. Your thoughts???
