I find it hard to believe a 230hp SVX made it to over 170mph. What axel ratio are you running?

Ive had it up 150+MPH but the highest picture i have of it going is 147-148. My speedo seems to be a little off saying that iam going slower than iam really iam. If you look in the back ground you can see the wipers that got pulled up by the wind, which i just fixed with oem subaru wipers, tested up to 150mph

What Gearset do you have your RPM's look rather high.

Wink

i've been to 145 mph in mine and have original tranny still going at 133k miles with no problems. that 145 was done with the cam timing off on both heads so i can't wait to try it now. i see 160 possible.

Consistently 26.8 on 3 tanks on our last trip.... the final tank was 29.6. Gotta love it with these prices....

Stock gearing on my car. I know that Chris (owner of the site) has gotten his up to 170ish. It is not all that hard. You just need optimal weather conditions to do so. I was right around 6.5k on the RPM's

You and like everyone else who bought one on ebay. I flew from San Jose,CA to Santa Fe, NM.

I wonder who holds the record for the longest distance travel to pick up a SVX. MY friend flew to Ohio from San Jose and then drove back. About 2500 miles. I bet Earl must have beaten that for one of his trips. If not, I bet all his trips total way more than that.
