*sneaks in*

My mechanic saw a yellow one in West Gosford on Tuesday. I had my Liberty in for gearbox repairs, and was raving about how I want to seel it and get another SVX, then when they picked me back up from work, he tells me he saw a yellow one ... My comment "so, did you offer to swap it for the Liberty?"

He looked at me and said he did not think I would be seen dead in a yellow one, as everything I was wearing was purple (along with my hair) - said it would clash !!!

What do mechanics know ??? Yellow SVX is better than NO SVX !!!

G'Day Jason, I actually see this SVX on a regular basis at one of my favorite resturants.
Have left SVX.NET cards a few times, but never had a reply.
Asking around the resturant, I think he runs the local gym/squash courts.
Generally in clean neat condition (unlike mine ) but last seen sporting the rear wheels on 'backwards'
I thought I posted pictures somewhere?

Arthur.

NEW SIGHTING, for me anyway.
Tuesday evening about 6:30, Hume Highway, Eastbound from Chullora, a Charcoal Grey with wing, rego- ADH-811.
Was surrounded by toy Hondas and a V-8 ute, that all wanted to stay close and look at it!
I couldn't get close enough to wave before having to turn off at Homebush.
Don't see many Charcoal Grey's.
Arthur.

Thumbs up To be or not to be ...

Saw this car the other day ... got all excited ... yellow SVX then I got closer. Sadly, no SVX - but, the windows are very familiar !! Thought I would take pics anyway, since everything is quiet on the sighting front !! Toyota Sera is the beast.

I have borrowed dad's SVX that was unregistered, and had been written off in 2000 ... Well, that was fun *NOT* 4 weeks, and my 7th visit to the Motor Registry this morning to get a set of plates. My god, are they THE most inefficient people ever ?? It has been registered in QLD for the last 6 years, but NSW have to do everything from the start, without actually telling you everything you need the first time (or the second or the third or the fourth, etc etc etc).

ZOOM ZOOM for me !!

oh yeah - pictures. ooops. sorry ...

Hairdresser's cars.

There just is no other way to look at them.

Seras are for the birds.

Svx

Saw what appeared to be a resprayed yellow SVX with black top (a la 1992-94 series) - it was a very lemon colour rather than the yellow of the two original yellow SVX's that I have seen.

Attempted to give chase off Parramatta Road but thwarted by a set of lights.

Also saw a burgandy/black one the day we arrived on Parramatta Road - BBS type wheels - the rego was familiar but I forget it at the moment - will post it as soon as I remember

James

Talking Bright Red SVX Spotted!

Date : Saturday, 24th June, 2006.

Time : 3:00pm.

Location : Mowbray Road, Chatswood.

Rego : SVX - 95 (I know who that is!)

Yet again, I see an SVX - and I am not driving my own car!!

It would look strange if the driver of a BMW tried to pull an SVX over!!!
