Transmission filter location

Hi all,

Well I got my 95 tranny rebuilt (again) and it is now time to put it back in. When I purchased the transmission, I was told that there was an added cooler ran in parallel to the stock one, but everything was leaking, so I told my mechanic to bypass the aftermarket cooler and just use the stock one. My present mechanic just called me and told me that there is only one filter that he sees for the transmission's oil and that it looks like a small fuel filter, not like a regular engine filter (bigger). My questions are:

- where is the OEM filter located (picture would be appreciated)
- what's the correct way to fit a 2nd cooler (parallel or one after the other)
- if done the later way, is there a need for a second oil filter
