Re: Radiator Replacement

Good news, everyone! AMR has new radiators in stock, though if you signed up via their waitlist you probably already got an email. https://amrengineering.com/product/1...r-w-slim-fans/

Just in time after I sold my SVX. >_<

Prior to that, though, I got lucky searching car-part.com and found a yard that was willing to ship me a radiator out of a SVX in their inventory when I needed one. Good luck!

Re: Radiator Replacement

Definitely good news... not the most inexpensive option but likely worth the money since viable radiators have become quite difficult to find. (BIG BIG thanks to @theflystyle who was able to provide one to get my car back on the road after being sidelined for over two months!)

Re: Radiator Replacement

Did anyone explore the fitments of the Koyo?

AMR's website isn't working.

Re: Radiator Replacement

Does anyone have any current info on replacement, new or used radiators?

Re: Radiator Replacement

When I needed a replacement a few years back (after doing the epoxy thing twice), I got mine from Performance Radiator here in Denver. It wasn’t in stock but only took a few days to get it in. Nice quality and fitment, it was made by Calsonic Kansei. I think they had it listed as a Model 2083 (tho that may be a common designation for the SVX rad?)

Anyway, believe it or not, I saw radiator.com has a 2083 for the SVX listed as in-stock and at a decent price. Beware I’m not sure that’s reality tho. lol Nor that their 2083 is a Calsonic rad made in Japan…

Don’t know if it’s useful, but passing the info along.

Tom

Re: Radiator Replacement

At this point, any radiator that will fit is a bonus. There is literally nothing available.

Not cheap at $845, but made one for me last year. Only took a couple of weeks.

Re: Radiator Replacement

PWR is listed at $939.00 USD now.
$1265 CAD which is more than I paid for my '97.

Re: Radiator Replacement

Wanted to let everyone know that I was able to install a 2003 wrx radiator and it seems to hold up just fine! I will be running car for a while and if I see it doesn't have any over heat issues I will post a quick write up as it does need modifications but the radiator seems solid so far very happy with it! as as you all know its very difficult and or expensive to get new one.
