WTB: '94 or newer SVX in good condition

I'm looking to buy another SVX, i had a '92 that i bought in my freshamn year of college, 2 years ago. I absolutely love the car,a nd am looking to get a new car and would like another SVX. I blew the tranny in my '92 and don't want any SVX from the early years that had the tranny problems. Car should have arround 100k miles and have no internal problems, I'm not really worried about how the paint it, have friends with private paint shops so i can have a new paint job done and some minor body work. Let me know what you guys have available. ASAP of course, my toyota is on the last leg and i don't want to drop the 500+ that is would take to have it fixed when i could put that to my SVX or any Subaru. i'm open to other things than just an SVX.

What happened to the 1992? I have a 1995 red with black 18" rims and a FG hood. It has 115k miles on it. It runs absolutely mint ( tranny and engine). Make an offer and the reason that I asked about your old one is that maybe that and cash would work.

i blew the tranny on my old onewhich was just over a year ago. so that one is dead an buried. how much are you asking for you 95? the only possible trade i could do would be with my '92 toyota camry 2.0L w/ 5MT. Not a bad car gets good gas mileage, just dropped in 4 brand new bosch platnium spark plugs and will hopefully have the wires in by tomorrow. Kinda in the middle of doing a tune up.

Not to kill your hopes, but I would like in the neighborhood of 6500.- It has the FG hood, the rims, drilled and slotted rotors, SS lines, Raybestos pads, silicone hoses, Kumho Ecsta tires, Green air filter. It is in mint condition like I said. I have maintained it meticulously. I know that is a lot, but it is what I will have to ask. Sorry if it kills it for you.

ehh, not at the top of my list with that price. unless your interested in a 91 toyota camry with the 2.0L and 5MT with new tires and new clutch from the end of June and just installed new spark plugs and wires. might get the whole distrubtor replaced, see how long i go here. has about 180k+ miles on it. great gas mileage usually average about 30+. can go over 400 miles on a full tank at max, just straight highway driving. all the miles i have put on it have been from highway driving, lost of road trips to see friends and even more to compete.

You sent it to the scrap yard because of a tired transmission?! Why, in blazes, would you do that?

Yes, Kermit's for sale. No, you can't afford him!

95 L Awd

My Polo Green 95 L AWD will soon be for sale. It is nearly perfect mechanically (except for an ABS sensor), but needs a little cosmetic work. Some brief details:
Koni Inserts
17" wheels + summer tires, stock wheels + snow tires
Mychailo's custom sport strut springs
ECUtune Stage 1v4
Leather from a 94 Lsi
New Subaru reman trans @ 58k. Trans fluid and internal filter changed every 30k since.
Stebro Cat Back.
WRX 6-disc in dash changer
all records since 2001 (when I bought it)
139k.
Looking for $4500

There are the normal dents and dings, and a little rust (mostly localized to the doors).
Let me know if you are interested. There are a few scattered pics in my locker, shoot me your email and I can send tons more.

Here's a link to photos of my SVX, but I'm in New York

http://www.danwagner.com/svx/index.htm

1994 Laguna Blue L with 79,600 miles. Very clean. Almost new tires, Motorsports custom leather interior, new alarm system with remote start. newish battery, timing belt, water pump, etc changed around 68,000 miles. I have many records. I bought the car in VA from a lady who bought it at 29,000 miles. She knew all about the tranny and bearing issues. It's a FWD car which has a lot of pep, and is less hard on the tranny and is 200 pounds lighter than AWD versions.
