Anyone have a coolant flow diagram?

My SVX "service manual" doesn't seem to have one. Does anyone have a complete coolant flow diagram?

While we're at it, does anyone have a link to the OEM service manual in PDF format? Please ignore this if this question is against the rules, I don't mean to cause a raucous.

Thanks all,
Luke

Good to see you over here.

Not sure about a diagram or what your looking for, but here http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51702 is a very long thread where many of the SVX elite weighed in on the coolant system. The entire system is taken apart in detail in that thread.

And I've never seen an electronic version of the OEM FSM, but there a few links in peoples signatures to a generic version of the SM.

Greetings Hocrest, looks like I have some reading to do! Always good to see GRM guys on other forums.

I'm trying to decide where to tap my coolant expansion tank into. I'm thinking the return line from the heater core.

Re: Anyone have a coolant flow diagram?

Didn't you mention getting an "inline" radiator cap housing for the top hose? Just get the housing with the expansion outlet.

Re: Anyone have a coolant flow diagram?

I thought about it, but there isn't enough room for it.

I have an early Volvo 740 coolant expansion tank mounted right by the brake booster. I plan on tapping it into the heater core return hose. Hopefully it will work.

Re: Anyone have a coolant flow diagram?

What type of valve are you using to control flow? I don't think you can just use a "T"?

No valve to control flow. I don't see that as anything I need to control. I'm using a coolant expansion tank.

Thanks, I'm very confident in this setup. I guess we'll just have to see how it turns out!
