no rinse carwash

brand is Optimum Polymer Technologies Inc., or OPT
called NO RINSE wash & shine

its great for when you want to wash your car in your garage and out of the sun
basically get two buckets and fill one with a few lid-fulls of the 'no rinse' stuff and some water, and then fill the other with water

use a large sponge, soak it in the 'no rinse' solution and wash the car with the sponge (i do it sections at a time), then dry it the section you just washed with the sponge
rinse the sponge in the water (the non-no rinse solution), then soak it in the 'no-rinse' solution and do it to another section of the car until you're done

i recommend if your car is really dirty, that you hose it off first to get off the bigger dirt, etc.

rinse the sponge in the water and do it again

Sounds like a rinse to me, even if you call it a second wash.

Re: no rinse carwash

no rinse as in you dont have to use the hose to rinse any soap off the car.
