i've read your rules now...page 27, section 10 of the solo rules says you must have a dual system, not a diagonal system.
Dual is covered by a separate system front to rear. The same master cylinder can operate the front system of part of the cylinder and the rear. My expectation is the factory Subaru is not diagonal, but I wasn't going to discuss that until I could check. Most cars have separate front to rear because the piston sizes are different front to rear. Therefore, within the rules, you could do what I initially recommended which is to re do your rear system to a single line through the cabin to the Tilton/Willwood valve (same as above) then a t-piece to both wheels again. How tight are the courses? do you have hairpin corners? If so, a hydraulic handbrake would save you heaps of time. Matt |

Quote:
Piston size, disc & disc/disc & drum are not determining factors. Diagonal systems have two prop' valves, F/R have one. Disc/drum combos utilize a metering valve alongside the prop' valve.

Hay guys just go to a junk yard or something and score a proportioning valve out of an early non-ABS Legacy There real easy to get to and reinstall. Just try to remember what end in in and out. Also try to get the fitting with it (bring small pipe cutters) becouse you will need the metric ones. You just install it where the the two lines head to the rear. Plus you should be able to one for damn near free. Hell if you want I will send you one for free!!

Matt, that's just solo 1 rules. GSRs are totally different and what we're going by as most carry down. Yes the SVX to my knowledge is like Beav says most cars since the 70s diag at least hear in the states.
Jesse is the legacy valve adjustable? Where's it at?

OK, where do I find the GSR rules please? SCCA search can't find any reference to GSR.
