New Nissan Altima SE-R vs SVX

No, this is not a racing thread.

I was looking up some specs on this car and noticed a few similarities.

Both are available with:
- Ebony Pearl paint
- charcoal leather interior
- 6 cyl
- around 70hp/L
- 6 spd (well...some )
- power driver's only seat w/manual lumbar
- below .30 cd
- all the other things most cars today have

Differences
- no AWD on Altima (yet)
- 4 doors

Altima SE-R looks better in red than the svx
Actually that is the only way it should be purchased.

i have to agree on the throwing a rock and hitting an altima thing. it seems to be the import sedan car of choice in america's heartland. more common than even a honda accord or toyota camry. second seems to be teh hyundai sonata.

the thing that surprised me on my trip was the amount of ford fusions on the road. i could count all the fusions i've seen in denver on my hands and feet, but every other car in nebraska, iowa, illinois, indiana, and michigan was a fusion.

The think that annoys me most about the fusion is the commercial. It's marketed as "the car that creates energy". If Ford had found a way to create energy (besides defying just about every law in science) they certainly would have won a nobel prize and would have just about every scientist in the world knocking on their door for the secret.

I was shocked more about the colour configuration. In reality the G35 Coupe is probably closer to what the SVX would be if it were still being produced today.

The Altima SE-R will easily smoke an SVX imo,...

Perhaps not look as cool as an SVX from the side view...

What's the bottom line to compare these two vehicles?

IMayHaveAFreeOneInTheLoft... PM me your addy

It may have a little paint on it or epoxy, but you can see the letters and they work. Either that or pop off your space bar and remove the cracker
