Your car can run with out it, just dont use your AC There are minor mods you have to do to make it fit, but with the right tools, I think it can be done in 2 hrs or so. There is another dodge rad that can be made to fit that uses its oem single fan, only thing I dont like is that it is a little wider and doesn't give easy access to the our headlights. That car had no problems with cooling even with AC on. You can PM me if you need a little more detail
