p.s. adjustment correction factors = 30% used for AT, 15% used for MT

Bill,

In this thread in which SVXtypeR talks about his dyno runs, he mentions his car is a '92 SVX. Not sure of his mileage though...

Okay, here it is...I'm definitely looking for feedback on this!

Here's my summary to date. All runs were conducted of DynoJet inertia-type AWD dynos. Enjoy!
-Bill
p.s. check out the consistency of the rpm that peak Hp and T occur at!

Nice info Bill. I'd say you need to swap a low mileage engine into your ESP SVX pronto. 193K is definitely a lot of miles.

Chike,
Yep, this Sunday's event will be the last autoX this engine sees in its current internal condition
-Bill (making room for the build of Battlestar's new "heart" )
p.s. NeedForSpeed.....NeedForSpeed....I'm going to need those special parts we've been talking about soon...

That's awesome Bill. You must be down 150-200whp and up 200+lbs in comparison to the Camaro-Birds in ESP.

Good luck with the engine swap/re-build!

Chike,
yeah, being down by ~150 cu inches of engine displacement and almost 2 inches in tire width at each corner makes things interesting
-Bill
p.s. note that my 60 foot times were as good or better than all but Strano's and Burdette's times at the ProSolo (with a cracked flexplate!)

FYI, with my drag racing experience in my stock WRX, I'm able to cut 1.8 second 60fts on the regular now...

There's a growing movement on SCCAForums for more than one National Tour Pro Solo to be offered on the East Coast in '07. If a few are offered, I'll be gearing my autoX season in '07 towards Pro Solo events and going to Topeka for just the Finale. I would also like to compete in an East Coast National Tour Solo event for the 'experience'.

Mr. SVXRide - a very comprehensive and through summary, thank you very much. It appears you have established a path for the evolution of the ECUTune chips, abeit one based on a well seasoned engine...
It is curious as to how close your latest adjusted results are to Mr. GEST24's even though his SVX is equipped with a supreme STi 6spd and DeltaCam intake camshafts and has ~100,000 less miles on its engine. It would appear that your other modifications have had a beneficial effect. I am curious as to what Mr. Trevor and Mr. Harvey's thoughts are on the results you have summarized.

Hi Bill,

Would shipping one week from Wednesday be soon enough? Working on the projects, as we speak.

Also, interesting article in latest Popular Hot Rodding on dyno numbers. Check it out.

Ron,
Perfect! Want to send some trans mounts and dogbones along for "Gruppe N'ing"? I just got a spare dogbone I'm going to mod, and I've got more liquid urethane than I need for just one dogbone
Jeez, wish I had read this post before I went out today...was at the grocery store's magazine rack and only picked up a "Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords" mag (good article on engine rebuilding).

Kerry's car (gest24) can use some fine tuning. He could easily be able to reach the 191 mark that my old 5mt was at with his car. He has a strong engine and many mods to suit the car as is so it will only take a little tinkering and he will be running much better than he was

Tom
