Sold my SVX, but future looks good

Well, it actually happened. It is strange to think about, but I sold my SVX. I sold it to another member on the forum here (CraftyLandShark), he's new so everyone make sure and make him feel welcome. I hate that I had to sell it, but I think i'm just going to have to wait until after college to be able to treat the SVX like she deserved. Not sure where to go now, but I have a few possibilities lined up, we'll see. Just want to thank everyone that helped me along the way, seems like the first month I was here, all I ever did was ask questions. I'm not leaving the forums though, well, unless you guys want me to.. . Kevin (craftylandshark) has some big plans for the SVX, I am looking forward to seeing the progress unfold, at least I know that I sold it to someone who will take care of it. ok, I admit, i'm going through post-svx-sale trauma right now....

actually, i'm still looking for a car, who knows what right now. People keep telling me to buy an economical 4 door, but hell will freeze over before I go that route. Once you drive a car like the SVX, it's just addicting, i'm never going back to the 4 doors.....

right now, i'm checking on a couple of MR2s, and a couple of Supra Turbos.

The Supra Turbo's maintenance is less than the SVX?

I don't think so. I think he sold it because of the SVX is difficult to get parts, once it breaks down and it takes awhile to get it fixed - one of the reasons.

Glad you sold your car to a member who will like it. Byebye.

yep, parts take too much time to get ahold of. Another thing I didn't really think about too much until yesterday was that I can drop my Comprehensive insurance now, and just have liability = more savings. The Supra's parts are slightly lower than the SVX, but mostly just a LOT easier to find.

The only problem is that the svx is a car that can be used for transportation for the guy, and everything else can have 4 doors, or a tailgate to allow the introduction of groceries, or whatever needs hauled.. The SVX is not a primary mode of transportation, it is what some people prefer to drive if they don't need to haul lumber or furniture and such!!!!

2.0L or 2.5L?

actually it IS true, because i'ved owned both, and have more fun in the LGT. so my opinion is true. your statement that my opinion is not true, is false, however.

yeah, the fun driving 2 miles to work and 2 miles back. must be some hardcore stoplight to stoplight peelouts.

perhaps it would be cheaper if you pulled me to work on a cart. only problem is dealing with the smell coming from your exhaust.
